I mean, what keeps you working at the artwork like putting so much detail and effort into it. I guess what I'm trying to say is usually when I'm motivated to work on the art work the motivation just stops half way and I lose the feeling to continue. I want to know what do you do to keep you going with your art without stopping or quitting half way
Ah I see Good question Very simple answer, actually - What keeps me going is the fear of leading a mediocre life, being slave to a 9 to 6 job and doing so while working on things that don't have any interest or mean anything to me. I hate being traped in this endless loop like so many people are, most of the times for their whole lifes - and the sad thing, is that many of them don't even notice it. Freeing myself from this, working as a freelancer on things that I love and doing my own projects is what motivates me
Thank you so much. Your words are very inspiring. I do agree with ya. One part of living your life to the fullest is having your hobbies as a job. Coolio to you ! By the way, I have another question: is it okay to use your landscape art as a setting for my stories. I love how you design your landscapes. Also, I like drawing backgrounds and landscapes a lot so could you lend me advice on drawing backgrounds and settings?
Hey! No problem You can use them as inspiration for locations on your stories of course, but I would ask you not to make exact descriptions or anything like that, since they have their own "official" story. I hope you understand As for advice, I would recommend that you observe the world around you well, that you do studies from reference ( no paint-overs ) and above all else, that you draw A LOT ! The only secret there is to painting is practice ! Take good care, and good luck!
