Hello everyone, how are you doing ?

So....I have this HUGE problem, it has a name, it's called LAZINESS. That is the reason I make so few journals, pools, comments etc. I'm not 100% lazy...I am 250%. But now I have decided to end laziness and to start focusing my energies on goals and valuable things.

I made a list of this goals. Long-time goals, and present time goals. Deviantart is one of the present time goals, and by this I mean that I am gonna give more time and energy to the community, I'm gonna make more interesting Journals, give more comments, make some TUTORIALS.

Yes, TUTORIALS. Blinck is gonna make a tutorial on how to speed paint. Please have in mind that I am not gonna teach how to draw on this tutorial, I assume you already know how to draw. What I am going to deliver is some of my techniques and process. Although it is not a very regular process I think I have the same one in all my paintings.




Now, answering on my last journal ( sorry for the late response mate )

So, when/how did you start? How and when did you knew that you had talent for it? Have you learned/Are you learning human anatomy and figure drawing? What is the tablet you are using?

I started 3 years ago to learn how to work on photoshop, making those effects with filters and etc. Then I started doing signatures ( yeah I know booooooo ). I wanted to take it to the next level so I started to do 3D-Abstracts, I kept on doing them over and over. Then I got my first wacom, and, fascinated by ryan church and feng zhu I started participating on the speed paint thread on CGTalk. From there on, I just kept painting and painting, because that is all there is to it..practice.

I am currently having anatomy drawing classes on my university, that's why I started to draw more characters lately, since now I feel more secure drawing the human body. Anatomy classes are great really, you learn ALOOOOOOT!

I am currently using a Wacom graphire 4 Studio A5. In some of my paintings I used a Wacom Intuos 3 (which is amazing ) that my brother borrowed to me.



By the way, I am doing a Spielberg collection on DVD's, I love his movies and I love to see the making of. I currently have all 3 indiana jones, Letters from iwo Jimba ( Directed by both Spielberg and Clint Eastwood ), Saving Private Ryan, Close Encounters of the Third Kind! If you have any favorite movie from Spielberg tell me about it so that I know wich one to buy next.
